Slightly AU. His wife was kidnapped and she was all that mattered to him. Running from the dark and towards the meeting with her kidnapper, Alan Wake bumps into a strangely cheerful man. The Doctor.

Most of the team is stuck in the Dark Place trying to write a story to get them out, whilst Robin is stuck in the real world, living out the script.

Alan Wake sends himself to the future, in order to find a hero that can help him to defeat the Dark Presence. Commander Shepard is that hero. Alan develops a friendship with Shepard's squad and he tries to forget his past, but it comes back for him.

When the birds tried to get their eggs back from the pigs, they were attacked by the Dark Presence. Meanwhile, an OC does his best to help the birds through his writing. What turned out were unexpected results.

After the defeat of Alexander, Daniel finds himself pulled out of Agrippa and Weyer's protective grasp and transported into a strange realm. But if the Shadow has truly left him, then what is this Creeping Darkness that keeps hunting him down?
