Takes place during the whole Mass Effect series. Morgana sealed Merlin in the Crystal Cave. A thousand years later Cerberus finds him inside solid crystal and having discovered the cave is a destroyed Prothean beacon has him revived to fight with no memory of who he is. Merlin won't sit still and the memory loss is weakening.
