Sam and Dean weren't able to stop the Croatoan virus from spreading. As they try to fix their mess, they run into another group of survivors. The brothers realize there is more to a certain redneck hunter than meets the eye. With Daryl's help, the Winchesters also find that there's more going on than just a simple virus.
