After the Decepticons had been completely defeated, the Autobots discover an experimental Space Bridge that goes to alternate worlds. After being saved from Skynet in this terrifying new world, the Autobots decide to help destroy Skynet once and for all.

Bethany and her college peers are presented with a strange and unknown threat, while the human resistance struggles with Skynet and deals with the arrival of a robot from another planet.
