Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm trying this to see if anyone actually wants me to beta stuff.
I can beta Avatar. I can beta the Phantom of the Opera. I can beta Pirates of the Caribbean. I shall also beta Danny Phantom. I will not beta a story with a ship I cannot stand. Any Kataang or Maiko, I'm afraid I won't do. I'd be too slanted to give you any helpful advice if I tried. I'll try anything else. Except slash. I just don't seen it happening in the fandoms I've agreed to beta.
I'd prefer not have PWP submitted to by beta-ing services. I can still beta a story with mature scenes, as long as it has a plot and the scene is conducive to the story.
My beta style is a bit caustic at times, so don't ask me if you can't take constructive criticism. |

My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I can be slanted. I think that's everyone's weakness, whether it's a major weakness or not. I suppose any other weaknesses will be revealed if anyone applies to have things beta-ed by me. Terrible grammar and format kill my eyes, which are already about 4/20, out of 20/20, vision-wise. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
ZUTARA! Umm, I have no real preferences. Just not Kataang and Maiko. I'm afraid I'd be a terrible beta due to my Zutara-shipping-ness in a story with those ships as the main ships. If it's only in there a little, I might be able to help you. No slash please. I don't see it happening in the fandoms I'm willing to beta. I kinda like Sparrowbeth. I don't know why. I'd like NOT to see a lot of PWP. DXS Forever! |
