Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Um hi guys! Ive not been a beta reader officaily until now, but i have been a unofficail Beta Reader and co-writer for many of my friends stories which are also posted on this website.
I love to read other peoples stories and i am pretty gentle with my beta reading, so i wont say anything extreamly harsh, unless it is 100% neccessary. I warn you guys though, i am going through tough times right now, so i am available for beta reading, and i will do it quickly, but i can only beta read for a few people at a time okay? |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
well..i am pretty honest when it comes to beta reading, i will say gentle things though. I have good grammar skills and I dont take 5 or six days to beta read a chapter. It usually can take me only one or two days. It honestly depends on the length of the chapter. I work well on scentence structure. Oh and i am good at helping to make a story detailed and filling in blanks in stories. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Sometimes i can be a little gentle when im talking to a person about their story. I'll say its good, and then wait for a few minutes, thinking over what i should say about a story in a polite but point blank way. you guys no what i mean? i just dont want to offened everybody. But im still honest. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I love Romance stories. Sorry, im a BIG sucker for a good romance story. Ill do any kind of rating from K-M it doesnt matter. Ill do categories i know about, which is a bunch although ive only authored for a few. Ill do most genres, including romance, action, adventure, mystery, horror, hurt/comfort, and all that other fun stuff. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Hmm.....i would mostly read anything you guys set up for me. :) I can deal with things like murder and all that type of stuff. I dont think ill have a problem with it so cool. but ill warn you, i am not a very good poet so i cant really beta read that. Sorry. Also, things like excesive humor and character bashing, id prefer not to beta read. And i can help with humor stories, but im not really the best at it. |
