Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Even before becoming a beta, I would give readers feed-back to improve with. I am kind when I am telling people what to improve on with their story, and only give constructive critisism. I can promise you that I will not just be lazy, and only say 'good job' or 'needs improvement'. I will be VERY SPCIFIC, and will even edit your story completely if given permision. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am wonderful at keeping the story flowing nicely. I can tell you what should come next, or what I think should be coming. I have a wonderful vocabulary, and can make simple words more unique. I will give your readers a story they will eat up fast, and keep everything in perfect order. I can promise you that your readers will want more. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I am not the best at spelling, but spell check on word usually takes care of that. I don't have the best use of grammar, but my mistakes are so minor that your readers will not notice them. I cannot promise a fast response. If you need your story pronto, tell me, but I otherwise suggest finding a back-up-beta. I will do my best to get to your story in my hectic life. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I preffer to beta stories on Teen Titans and Twilight, since those are the categories I write under and understand better. I will read any category, but I won't be able to keep check on the characters if I don't know the category. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
There are absolutely no stories I will not read, so anything is accepted. EXCPET if it is NOT a story. I don't mean poems. I get extremely aggravated with people who just send me 'plot outlines' and tell me to write the actual story. That is not beta reading, that it writing a story for someone, then having someone else take credit for it. AKA: stealing. I will not accept any plot outlines, horribly written stories, or anything I cannot understand. If it looks like a plot on a notebook page (very vague and stupid) I will refuse to do anything for it. |
