I label everything I change, with reasons, in the hope that the writer won't make the same mistakes over and over again ^^

My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I've been told that I'm good at writing dialogue, and at having a narrative that flows well. Every so often I go off on a random poetic-description phase, and they tend to work out pretty well. Also, I'm really big on correct SPG. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I concentrate on romance fic too much. I'm no good at writing humour or action. Also, I tend to write short fics - I think my longest is around 8000 words - although that's not necessarily a weakness. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'd rather betaread short stories, oneshots, missing scenes, that sort of thing. I like stories that take one idea from canon and elaborate on it. Slash is good - het and femslash are okay (see below). |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
If there are any odd kinks or really unconventional pairings, or incest, or graphic gore/violence in your story, please warn me! I'll probably beta it anyway, but I'd like to know in advance.
I'd rather not betaread really, really long / many chaptered stories.
I don't read graphic het or yuri / femmeslash. Non-graphic is fine - nothing above a T, though, please ^^;;
I won't betaread poetry. |
