Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I read with a critical eye, but am a very kind person when it comes to people. If you really want help but don't want people going 'this is wrong, this is wrong. What's up with this?' I'm the person people I know, go to. What I expect from you as the person who wishes for my assistance, is to please take my advice as use it if you get a second opinian and they tell you the same thing. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strengths are word choice, spelling and grammar. I can tell a marysue from an excellent and reallish character. (Trust me, I've made marysue's in the past. I had to set them on fire...) I know when a character is out of character or not, and what a good description is. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My weakness is I have trouble keeping characters in character, but that's me, and description aren't my strongest point when it comes to writing, but I do know a good description when I see one. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'm fine with just about all types of stories. Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Lemon, yaoi, incest, stories with a lot of vulgar terms, or swear words. A few I don't mind, but if its bleepbleepbleepbleepbleep. Stay away from me. Sex and stuff like that. I hate it. Paring that aren't listed above I won't do. UNLESS I by some chance missed putting it up or have recently gotten into the pairing sure. Unless its Sparrowbeth. I don't like that. |
