Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Bonjour Je'mapelle Anna! I am currently a junior in High School in NC, but I also go on Thursdays to take my English College Class at UNC. I enjoy reading and writing with my trusty laptop, my current stories that are posted do not reflect the best of my abilites. They are merely here for the benefit of others. I will post new stories soon, since I recently just got Microsoft Word, before I was working with note pad. My style of BETAing tend to be focused alot on details and banter between characters. I would like to think I am great at helping to paint a mental picture for people. I am also pretty good at anaologies and poetry if that helps, haha. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Description. Dialouge. Scene Climax. Plot Resolution. I like to be bendable with the words I use, it's like being reasonable with the story. I do believe that sometimes stories write themseleves, and I do take direction well, but bear in mind I do have a working & open mind so if I see something that seems rushed or too different I will not hesitate in telling you. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I tend to going on rants, and be alittle too repetative. I sometimes with type 'For' instead of 'Four', 'our' instead of 'are'. My brain works weird like that. *shrugs* |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I love Comedies, Romances, and Mystery. I do fairly well at angst and decent in Lemon. I love to write Comedies in Twilight with good solid different plots. Life with Derek, I like to write with Third Person. Other than that, I am really up for anything. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Eh, maybe sci-fi. I am not all that into Aliens. Also I do not like puff fics, I like something with meaning. |
