Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Well, I'm not new at this. I've helped people with this kind of stuff in the past. I want people who are determined to learn and/or give up their wrong ways of writing if they have. I also want people to pay close attention to what I show them. Learning from your mistakes can help you. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at noticing grammar mistakes... but only in English. I take time to read the stories, I like them to have a certain feel to it. A feel gives it more life, y'know. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I have a bad memory sometimes, so while working on grammar mistakes, I might forget a word or two. So I want to improve on this side. I also want to perfect my Spanish, it isn't very good, but it still isn't very bad. I gain more experience with each Spanish novel the teacher gives me to read. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I mainly work with Romance, Adventure and Angst, but I'll try any kind of gerne. I also love Humor. I'll betaread every type of rating also, but it depends of the content of it (specially those M-rated ones). |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Yaoi, Yuri, not my type. Talking about the M-rated stories above, I'm not comfortable reading lemon (heck, I didn't even like to write a part of it). |
