If you are reading this right now for some reason, you are either attempting to find something else to laugh at me about, trying to find out more about me, or honestly wanting me to beta-read something of yours. If it is the last option, I'm shocked and very flattered, due to the fact that I am a virtual nobody. :] If it's not, well, enjoy reading this...thing...anyway.

I don't have much experience in Beta-reading, but I enjoy reading many things and I am always critical when I read (it happens unconsciously, I swear). If you wish for my services, please be polite (no begging or saying "BETARED MI STORY NAO PL0X") and please at least attempt good grammar. If I can't understand your request, chances are that I won't know what you want me to do. The speed of how fast I beta-read stories depends on my workload, so you might have to wait a few days, or you might get it back within a few hours. It all depends on timing.

My forte is most likely looking at the tone or overall effect of stories. Emotions are one thing that I tend to overthink about when reading a story, so that is the main thing I would look at. The overall flow, as well, is something I can check as well; strange word placement tends to be rather noticeable to me.

I am also a nitpicker! Which means that if there is inconsistency, I will probably pick up on that too. So I can look around for that if you like.

If you would like, I would be willing to proofread and check any spelling or grammar errors (yes, I am a freak when if comes to good grammar) but please, for the the love of the Immortal Deities, don't send me a thirty-page story composed of nothing but chatspeak. Decent language is key.

I'm not good at reading things that are very long (i.e. 10,000 words or so) unless you are SURE that I will be interested enough, or if it happens to be a cry-worthy story (yes, my weakness ._. -is angst-ridden-). Me getting bored usually results in me skimming over everything until the end. Please don't do that. Also, don't ask me how to improve battle scenes. (I'm still working on that myself ^-^;;)

Also, I have a tendency to pull punches in an attempt to spare a person's feelings, but when I work on not acting like that, the criticism may turn out very harsh depending on the story's quality. Apologies in advance if this happens.

I enjoy beta-reading stories that aren't too long (preferably one-shots, because I have a short attention span and cliffhangers make me want to headdesk). Action is alright, fluff romance is cute too. I'll read almost anything except for my dislikes. And strangely enough, my favorite type of story would have to be one that makes me cry, even the ones with no happy ending. You know a story is good when it makes your imagination create something that brings tears to your eyes. (Yes, I'm cheesy like that.)

Don't send me humor stories unless they are for proofreading purposes (I like humor very much, but everyone has a different humor style and it's hard to criticize someone's style). I won't accept anything poorly-written with no effort, either. That means no leetspeak.

Although romance stories are one of my favorite genres to read, I will not beta-read any romance stories (or almost any story, for that matter) that contains an OC. I apologize if it offends anyone, but I prefer OCs in original fiction only, please and sorry. ._.

What else...? Long list here. I won't beta-read stories with slash or incest. Definitely not my cup of tea. I have a narrow mind, so sue me. (Really though, don't.)
