Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm very critical on grammatical errors that I can fix - simple things like word usuage or where to put a comma - and I do everything I can to help the plot move along smoothly and believably. I can also help with different ideas for sideplots, pairings and things of that nature. |

I know how to spell very well, my vocabulary is really good, and my grammar is far better than I honestly care to admit. ^^; |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I tend to get a bit TOO engrossed in the story that I'm reading at one time and will have to read it several times to make sure that I've got everything checked, because I'll miss some... well, a lot of things sometimes. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer stories that have some type of good ending, have a good plot line and are believable in said plotline. If two characters that have previously hated each other suddenly fall in love, I will read it, but it's not prefered, (though I have to admit, I'm being hypocritical on this - I've done the same thing myself); I prefer the ones that have a solid reason that said characters fall in love - having spent too much time together, having going through terrible emotional trauma, things of that sort. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Ones with a sad ending or big character death aren't my cup of tea, to be sure. Also, I do NOT edit or read YAOI or YURI (slash) stories AT ALL. I have nothing against it, but I'll be the first to admit that it does make me a bit uncomfortable and I can't work with it. |
