Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh and am a fiction writing major, so I am good at grammer, characterization, etc., and I have a strong vocabulary so if you're struggling with the perfect word choice I'd be glad to help out. Fanfiction was always there for me when I needed to write but had writers block on the multitude of novels I am writing. I think fanfiction is a beautiful thing and should be respected - I hate it when I read a fanfiction filled with mispelled or misused word. It annoys me. But don't worry, I won't judge. Just e-mail me your story at cesylvers@yahoo.com and I will use Microsoft Word to edit it. I will e-mail you the edited version and if there are any problems or concerns or something about what I changed that you don't like, just e-mail me and tell me because I will always save the original version as well. My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
well, i'm a big shipper. so i guess my main weakness is that sometimes i get too obsessed with the things i believe in. for example, in Smallville I am a strong, relentless advocate of CLANA (although I understand CHLARK), and in Lord of The Rings I can't stand when Legolas and Aragorn are romantically paired but LOVE those friendship stories where they go on journies/quests together and take turns getting wounded and almost dying. lol. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Smallville (any pairing except for CLOIS, the only pairing I truly can't stand), Law & Order SVU (any pairing), Lord of The Rings, Life With Derek (DASEY only, please), Hannah Montana (any pairing), crossovers (I love crossovers!), Juno, Secret Life of The American Teenager, etc. there's probably more but that's all i can think of right now. |
