Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am a beta reader for those lacking in the grammar department, however, I can only read English. Also, if you wish for me to become a beta for your stories, please tell me what Fandom you are writing about, because I may not know about it, and I may need some time to research the fandom in question. If you are going to write about Naruto, let me warn you: I do not like Sakura or SasuSaku, so I will turn down your request. If I am the type of beta you need, then I hope to hear from you soon! :3
P.S. If i have to wait for forever to get the next chapter of your story, I might get a little impatient.

I am not too strong when it comes to offering solutions to word choice errors, but I can offer several suggestions that might inspire better word choice. I also become very busy at times, although I will notify you if i am unable to work on your story. Finally, i am blunt. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer thought-out stories, and ones that do not use a script form (See the 'Not My Cup Of Tea' section). I also prefer ones that don't bash people/objects/ideas, and ones not written in CAPS lock. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I am not very good with stories that are either in a script form or in an IM form. E.G.:
Person 1: Hi
Person 2: Hello.
I tend to not try reading these stories, because they lack flow in a story.
Also, I DO NOT handle first person stories, with very few exceptions. This is because I have read so many bad first person stories that i can't accurately correct one without the "Sucky!" alarm going off, even if it's not true.
Lastly, I can barely handle present tense. I hate it as much as I do first person.
