Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I have been in the fanfiction reading game for almost three years. My experience in reading fanfic tions is along with the professionals. So I am one to be recommended for in the Beta-Reading process.
I look for two things in good fanfics. One that gives a good story, and one that gives good grammar. If one fails, then both fail. I won't tolerate "ur" for "your" or "tht" for "that". So anyone requesting my help, be sure to undo those spelling shortens.
I read fanfics justly and unbiastly. If I see a good story, I won't judge it as bad because of the pairing favouritism. Likewise, if I see one of my favourite pairings requested, I will still turn around and say it was pathetic because of the poor storyline.
I have a keen eye for good stories, so if you're really confident in your works, come to me, and I'll read it without hesitation. |

I am almost a complete master of the english language. I can read passages and spot any grammar errors. I can spot many literature techniques, such as irony, ambiguity and humour, which will further in my appreciation of the text itself. And I prefer stories that don't overuse words too much. |

Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Certain styles of fanfics, i can do any. Lemons/limes, romance that keeps the characters into their own characters, unless their characters change because of the plot. And I love stories with an excellent plot. One with good structure, a good conflict, and one with situations that makes sense and create a full-proof wall over the protagonists. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I will not do parodies, song spoofs or any crossovers. I won't do any stories that don't have any plot at all, and simply throw random events in all for the sake of fanservice. And any character that steps out of their charcter for just a second, will lose my interest completely. |
