Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a college graduate with half a masters' degree in English Literature. That makes me a bit of a snob, when it comes right down to it. However, I'm willing to offer my snobbery in a constructive form, so others can learn from it, and the world can have more writers who don't suck. While temporarily disabled, I'm beta-ing so I don't bore myself to death. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm very good at both grammar and spelling, and those are what I look for, first. I'm also relatively good with plausibility and characterisation, in the fandoms I beta for. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not terribly polite. That's the big one. I'm also somewhat less familiar with newer characters in Bleach and Naruto, as I have fallen somewhat behind, lately. |

Anything that's not on the list below, I'll at least take a look at. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I don't do shota, character-bashing fics, or stories with more than 7,000 words per chapter (not enough time). I prefer not to do Naruto fics with Team Hebi. |
