Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm a kinder version of the Grammar-Nazi. Because spelling is SRS!BUSINESS.
I'm good to bounce ideas off, so feel free to throw any -grammar, structural, plot, or otherwise- my way.
I'm fairly efficient and anything under 5000 words can most always be returned with comments within a 48hr window. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I keep things realistic- in character- whatever you wish to call it. I can give constructive (not critical) responses to questions, and hopefully help a writer to improve the flow and structure of a peice of writing. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I've learned from my mistakes with regards to jargon, gnomic humour, and the abuse of descriptor sentences. I'm currently working on improving my structure and overuse of the comma. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Something with substance would be nice... humour can still have substance etc.
With regards to rating and content- It's a free for all. I just ask that works are read over and done with taste. Smex can be tasteful. SRSLY. |
