I can't give you a detailed resumé or precise list of every single piece of writing that I've ever picked apart and edited for someone else, but I can say that I occasionally find myself reading other peoples' stories and thinking, 'Okay, well, they should've put a comma here, and capitalized this here...' I've really been doing it ever since I've been on this site - in my first six months or so of reading stories, however, I just chose not to let it bother me as much as it does now. Subconsciously editing is one of my stranger habits, I'll admit.

I try to get chapters or one-shots back within twenty-four hours; at maximum, forty-eight, unless it's a rare day and I'm swamped with stuff to do, there's an emergency, or something else. Basically, I'll try to get it back to you as quickly as I would want to see my chapter get back to me if I was a nervous author waiting for her editor's opinion.

I believe I'm pretty good at grammar and spelling. I know the difference between "who" and "whom" (or at least I think I do), I can recognize comma splices and run-ons, and I just get all-around twitchy when I see a grammar mark or letter that shouldn't be somewhere. Or vice versa.

I have a tendency to, if the situation, sentence, or phrase calls for it, change the author's writing style entirely. It will happen. And I am sorry for it. I see a sentence, don't like how it's written, I usually replace it to reflect something that I would write myself if I was the author. But I try to refrain as much as I can, and hopefully I'm getting better at it.

Angst, drama, suspense, and romance. I personally think that I'm better situated with the former three, but that's not to say I'm scratching the fourth completely off my list.

Oh, and I LOVE one-shots. But multi-chaptered fics are always good, too. C;

Novella parodies just aren't my thing. D:
