Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I love editing almost as much as I do writing. I think that the role of a beta reader should be to improve your work as much as possible, and that's what I strive to do. I'm a harsh editor, so if I think you're doing something wrong I'll be straightforward about it. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at spelling, grammar, and stylistic improvements, and I can improve the flow of your story. I'm also good at strengthening characterization. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Fight scenes and smut scenes. The former I'm not so great at myself; the latter I write rarely and so have little experience with. That said, I'll beta read a fic with smut in it, even if it's a PWP fic. But you might want to show to someone with more experience as well. Also, I've only seen the Transformers movies, so if you're adding in elements from other canons I won't catch any mistakes on that end. |
