Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hi, I can't very-well say I'm the best beta reader in the world, far from it, all I look to do is help others from a point of view their writing could use, feel free to "hire" me, or don't, your choice. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I get really into descriptions, sometimes I even get angry at authors when they write a book and say the character is wearing tennis shoes, jeans and a tee-shirt, and never say what they look like, so I enjoy helping with things of that sort, I also am pretty good with descriptive words, weird aren't I? |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not the best grammer or spelling specialist in the world, so if a word is spelt wrong or grammer is less than perfect I won't notice, I also have a hard time following storylines that trick the reader, in books I find myself looking back when that happends. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I will refuse any stories that have nothing to do with: Ben 10, Danny Phantom, Fairly Odd Parents and other cartoons of the sort, I will also refuse those really short stories that give you a sentance of nothing for a chapter. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
basically anything I've never heard of, song fics, stories rewriting the ending of a book or movie, and stories that merge a cartoon with a Broadway play. |
