Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I beta general fiction in the fandoms of Pretender, Quantum Leap, Sentinel, StargateSG1, Supernatural, NCIS, Numb3rs, and Starsky and Hutch. I have written fiction in Sentinel and StargateSG1. I can give just a grammar/spelling beta, but really enjoy working with the author from the conception of the story, help with characterization and general feel of the story. It's really up to the author as to how much help they'd like. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I excel at grammar and have a good grasp of characterization of the fandoms mentioned above. I usually write in first person, so am pretty good at getting into a character's head. I, of course, beta stories in either first or third person. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I occassionally have a slow turn around time, especially in the fall and winter. I usually can get fic back quickly, though and will tell the author of times when the turn around will be slow, or I'll put myself on Hiatis status if the slow turn around time will continue for long. I don't beta slash. |

I love angst, hurt/comfort, and friendship stories. |
