Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta I want to help people make their stories as good as they can be. I know I personally get bugged when people don't have very good grammar, spelling or paragraph structure. I'm willing to take on almost any job someone wants me to take; the exception being poetry because I'm not a big fan of the stuff. I also request that if someone wants me to beta their work that they at least do a first look over for any grammar or spelling stuff that is really obvious. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good with grammar and spelling; I actually know when the proper time to use a semi-colon is. I give as much compliments as critisism because I don't believe anyone only wants to know what they did wrong (it's nice to hear some good things every once in a while). |

I'm only human; I miss some things too. I get bored really easily so if the story is boring I'm in trouble. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Naruto: Sensible pairings. (Nothing dumb like Karin or Hinata with Sasuke; or Tsunade or Temari with Naruto)
HP: No Hermione/Draco pairings. The stories I like the most are about the Marauders.
Bleach: Keep Ichigo with Rukia and Orihime with Ishida or Ulquiorra(!)
KKM: Yuuri is with Wolfram and no one else! As for the other guys; whatever floats your boat
All: FUNNY! I like humour. Romance is good too. Throw in some blood and guts and you've got a winner :P

Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Though I do read stories and series where they have yaoi pairings, it's just not my thing if it doesn't make sense. I'm a pansy who cries too easily yet not easily enough so try to keep the tragedy to a minimum please. |
