Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I will read almost anything--I don't beta poetry or parody, though I will read them--if you want me to beta your stories, I will look for spelling, grammar, usage, and other small errors. I will also look for time period and location appropriate language--it makes the story feel more authentic. I will not pester over storyline, content, pairings, or anything of that nature unless you ask me to.
I will expect you to be polite in your dealings with me, but beyond that, almost anything goes. |

I am good with grammar, usage, punctuation, and usually characters being in/out of character, though I won't hassle about OOC unless you are trying for IC. |

I admit to not being great with spelling, though I can tell when something is spelled incorrectly. I will look up anything I'm not sure about... in a dictionary, as spell-check is dubious at best. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer stories with plotlines... I like action/adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, and similar stories best, though anything with a good idea is fine. |
