Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm not the most normal or conventional writer you'll ever read, but I can best be described as that...I try and write with this saying in mind by Juan Ramon Jimenez: If they give you ruled paper, write the other way.
In my profile lists my biggest inspirations, the author Ray Bradbury being at the very top of that list.
Please note that only *you* are your own best proof-reader. It won't matter what me or anyone else says. Stay true to yourself--of what you want to write, and everything *will* work out in the end! It always does, for some reason or another.
Any other questions, my AIM sn is: IvanovaRin

Please don't be afraid to ask--I do *not* have a shock collar like 'Le...^^;
Stories/Anything I have proof-read...: 0
Lol.
(Unless you count any of Tahle's musings...Which I don't, because she rocks!)

My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Acutally, I'm not sure what they are anymore. I really like linking things on top of each other, and arc-ing-type stories and works, and I try my best at irony. I can pick out grammer stuff. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Humor, the actual, real, live, funny kind. Conrad never got it, and neither did I. At least not in my stories. Other than that, fifty-word long sentences might be an impairment in someone's eyes...but not to me and Charlie Dickens. Or Marlow for that matter. I can get wordy, which I admit, is more often a bad thing. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I guess pretty much anything, except... |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
AU, High-school type stuff. And Romance isn't something I'm suited to either, especially not the explicit stuff, so please please none of that. OCs are fine by me now, I've embraced some well enough...And other than those things, I'd love to offer you my opinion, and help you if I can. |
