Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm rather calm and slow pacing with my reading. When I am asked to beta-read anything, I try not to think "quality over quantiy", but it often gets the best of me. If you want me to be a beta-reader, please consider your grammer and language. I won't answer with a straight away "Yes" if your language is most appalling. br /br /br /

Bear in mind that I am also British, so I may accidentally set something to the U.K. version of spelling and grammar. Also, keep in mind that I am in college, so I won't be able to reply exactly whenever I get a message. Give me time, I might be swamped with a research paper. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I have good grammer and writing skills. I tend to keep an open mind when it comes to stories, but I tend to stick with a genre that I know best. However, don't hesitate to come and ask me! :) |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm picky - to the extreme. To the point where I will read select stories. But don't let that stop you! I'm also a stickler for grammar/spelling (as mentioned above). |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer reading stories that don't have a lot of heavy romance, or this... this 'yaoi' that people keep mentioning to me. Keep the romance to fluff, and I'll read it. Also, the plotline has to lure me in, as if I were a moth transfixed by the light. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
