Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
If you ask me to read it, you're going to get my full opinion on it. I'll let you know if I see any grammar errors (and no, I'm not a "grammar nazi"), or typos, or missing words. If you find something in there that I missed, then that's a good thing, because it means you're looking over it yourself too. (Which you should do anyway.) Don't know if the chapter will fit with the story? Got writer's block? Send it to me (along with a breif summary of your fanfic plot) and I'll try to help you out. :) |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at telling whether or not something makes sense, and I'll let you know if I don't get it. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not very good at spelling. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I like action, adventure, a little romance (but nothing too... intimate), comedy is always good. :) And I like mysteries, and fantasy, also Sci-Fi. I'll also read poems, if they're not too depressing. Basicly, I'll read just about anything that catches my interest within the first two to three chapters. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I won't read anything with "slash" or anything like that. No offense meant, I'm just not really into that sort of thing. I'm not really into Horror, but I have been know to read some, as long as it's not too.... graphic. |
