Grammer, spelling and puncuation. Correcting typical errors common with non-native English writers. Story continuity and accurate characterizations.
I am not an easy-going beta reader. I am fair and will provide encouragement and support, but I will also edit and suggest changes to improve the story. Depending upon the story, those changes may be numerous and suggestions could be lengthy. I will point out redencency, missing/incomplete scenes, unnecessary and/or trival scenes.
If you request for me to beta a story for you, expect to receive it back with numerous changes, additions or deletions. Please do not view such things as a personal attack, as they are not. Any flames, hate email or trolling in response to a beta I have performed will result in me not accepting additional work from you.

Characterizations are pivotal to a good story. Alternative universes are fine, but if characters undergo a massive change in their fundamental personalities, I will call you on it. |

I am not the quickest of beta readers. It may take a few weeks for me to complete a beta. Timeframes will vary depending upon real life obligations and length of fic. |
