Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am now open and completely available as a beta-reader. I have my own story, Love Conquers, which is a Harry Potter Dramione pairing, and has been my baby for 23 chapters worth of time. I have recently finished being a beta for a long story on The Petulant Poetess, which was very successful. I'm usually quite quick in the ammount of time it takes for me to get the edited chapter back to the author, 1-3 days a most. I am always dedicated to a story, and will never suddenly become unavailable in the middle and leave an author stranded. |

My strengths probably include spelling, making sure thoughts and dialouge run smoothly, and most general grammar. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not very objective and often do not want to challenge the author, even if it is for the good of the story. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I would definitely prefer to beta Dramione stories, above all else. However, I'm fine with most else. I do not only Beta Harry Potter, I will give anything thrown at me a try, so long as I am familiar with the storyline. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
In Harry Potter cases, I will NEVER beta a Ron/Hermione story. I'm sorry, I just can't stomach it. As I've said, I'm not against slash or odd pairings. Though, I do try and stay away from the K - K+ rated stories, as I feel the plots often do nothing for me. But, in rare cases I will beta the odd K+. |
