Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a Beta, I usually pick out major spelling and grammar errors. I also identify plot holes and assist you in fixing any problems you may have.
I may take a little longer than most would like, but that's because I skim your chapter first and write down what I find out, and then really pick things apart. i try to disect the characters the most to make sure that no one is OOC and to make sure that OC's are not Mary-Sues or Gary-Stus. I'm usually very good at this part.
I never actually change the chapter you send me. I get your E-mail address and copy the chapter into Microsoft Word if that was not how it was sent. At the bottom, I will tell you exactly where to find misspelled words and give you the correct spelling. I will also point out where the rough spots are and give you an example as to how I would write it and give you some tips.
My most important thing: I DO NOT REWRITE THE CHAPTER FOR YOU! I give you suggestions. My job is to make you a better writter overall. I'm still learning myself because we never can know it all. I'm looking for a Beta for myself to check over my own stories. By bettering myself, I can help better YOU. |

I am really good with crossover stories.
I can almost always pick out the parts of your story that are rough and most of the time have pretty good ideas on how to make them much better if need be. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I do have slight problems occasionally pointing out minor spelling errors. I was the worst at spelling in my class, I won't lie to you. But I have this nofty thing now, it's called Microsoft Word. I live for this because it points out every error I could almost think of making. So now spelling isn't as much of an issue. I will use this if I Beta your story, because it works better and quicker than anything else. |

I prefer to have well written and alredy spell checked stories. You don't have to do this, but it would be nice. |

I WILL NOT beta smutty or lemony stories. Sorry.
The only stories that I will not betaread at the moment are animes and books that I haven't seen or read. I will give them a shot if you really want me to Beta them though. |
