Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I have authored over twenty stories for Bones, Harry Potter, and House since joining the site a year ago. I am very, very picky about grammatical errors and I search for them unconsciously while reading anyway, so I'm sure I'd have a few good suggestions for any story you send me. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Pretty much everything. I'm good at commas and other punctuation, sentence structure, general organization, cutting deadwood (the dull stuff nobody cares about), spelling (and if I don't know how to spell it I'll look around until I find out how), and suggestions for how to add to the plot. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Sometimes I'm a little worried about hurting the author's feelings. However, if you are asking me to edit your story, chances are I'm going to be as honest as possible about it. Also, if your story doesn't grab my attention, I might not put as much effort into it as I would one that I really enjoy reading. |

Bones
Harry Potter--the only pairings I'll do are Harry/Hermione, Hermione/Snape, Ron/Luna, Neville/Ginny, Tonks/Remus---or a story with any HP character not in a relationship
House--House/Cuddy
I'll do ANY rating, and pretty much any genre. |
