Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta reader, I will be honest with you. If I see a mistake I will tell you. I will try my best not to be too harsh, but harsheness might happen sometimes, and I apologize for it in advance. I really don't like it when beta-ees post stuff I haven't approved yet, so don't do that, OK? I also don't like when people get hot-headed over comments. It's one thing to politely disagree, but if you want to lose me as a beta, the golden words are, "So what? It's my story and I can do whatever I want!" |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at spelling/grammar and fixing awkwardness in wording. I'm also able to tell when a character is a Sue and when someone is OOC. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I can take a long time betaing things. Also, sometimes there will be problems that I won't notice. I'm not perfect and I admit that. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'm definitely best at parody/Suebash type of stuff. I'd prefer to beta things with plots over oneshots, but I'll take oneshots too. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'd prefer not to beta slash-fics or fics with uncanon pairings, and I don't like intentionally melodramatic stories. |
