Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
When I first came to fanfiction.net my grammar skills were really horrendous (check story Ugly Hermione) but now my writing has greatly improved (check story Sweet Bloody Urges)When I beta-read I first check that the tone is correct like is it it past tense, or future. Then I will check if the characters are believable. Finally I will check on grammar structure. When I beta-read your story please note that I will only work on your story if you are fully committed to it and not disown it in the future. You must accept that you will finish it all the way through. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I extremely good at writing description. I can describe looks, places, emotion, etc. I am also creative in changing sentence structures around so they still have the same meaning. I'm also good with grammar and mechanical structures. I'm pretty good at writing love scenes, dramatic, action, and suspenseful ones. Lastly judging if the flow of the story goes smoothly. |

My weakness I will have to say is dialogue, I can come up with a good enough answer, but when I write, it's not what I want. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I can prefer any story, I'm especially good with anime, tv shows, cartoons, and books. I won't mind what type of sex they are from, like if I beta yaoi/ slash that will be fine, I'll still beta it. I also prefer stories if they have a genre of romance in them. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I will absolutely will not beta read a story about incest, if they are not blood related then it's fine, but incest I will not accept. I will not beta stories that have romantic characters who are ten or more years apart. |
