Beta Description
Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm nice, and I would never go out of my way to make someone feel bad about their writing. I ask before I change anything that is substantial. I always save the first copy, should they not be satisfied with my work. I can take criticism. I love to Beta, and I try to be as fast as possible. Usually, that means it will be back to you within the day.
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I can come up with creative ways to use common words, as well as ones that would working nicely to replace them. I tend to be good with punctuation, and spelling. I know the background to Harry Potter better than most and that is something I can use to my advantage when writing in that universe.
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I overuse commas. I have a hard time finishing stories after I've posted them (this isn't a problem with my Beta-reading though).
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Harry Potter, Grey's Anatomy, Who's the Boss?, The Office, etc. I'm willing to read over others too, as long as they are of quality work.
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
The only thing I will not read is anime/manga/cartoon stories. I really just can't bring myself to do it.
