Hey all! New betareader here. Well, I guess I decided to do this because I'm going into the writing thing big time in a hopefully short while, and I like reading stories anyway. I like any stories with good enough characters and promising plots(it should make me wondering of what would happen next, in other words). I'm a bit of a tough reviewer/reader, as you will see in the coming parts, and you should not be offended or anyting by my comments - that would never ever be my intention. I would just try to pull you to the direction I think that will make your story interesting, the point of the beta reader. My expectation from people is at least medium length chapters (but we can work on it, so not a big problem) and it is recommended, but not necessary, not to have too long breaks between chapters. I also tend to like stories that can make me feel a bunch of different emotions at a time.

I can give you lots of different plot ideas and characters (some of my friends I lent my OCs know this better) if you are in need. I am also good at grammar and vocabulary, so I can help you in corrections (I have currently graduated from 2different colleges with English education, and I have done lots of translations to and from my native language, including an official document). I'm good at writing dramatic and emotional scenes and can reflect feelings accurately. My readers also usually say I'm good at character analysis.

Because that I am not a native English speaker, I can sometimes make mistakes. My ideas can also get a bit unorthodox at times, you are just being warned. Also, I'm not very good at action filled scenes (fighting, etc.)

I do prefer interesting, exciting and original ideas. I also like good developed characters, that is to say, characters with good and bad qualities, both strengths and weaknesses. And the plotline should not EXCESSIVELY focus on one character only (for example, take Naruto. The story is based on one ninja alright, but there are plenty of rooms for the other characters to develop).

I would prefer you not to come to me with way too goody goody characters who are perfect in everything they do, cannot do one simple mistake, and who have a battalion of boys/girls falling for the character (take Bella Swan as a perfect example for the last one, and you will get what I mean). Try to make your characters sound at least a little more realistic, same for the bad characters, every villain type would at least have a little spark of good in them. Please also do not come with copied plots, dialogues, etc. from a film, tv serie and so on (making a Twilight version of some tv show, for example). I'm sorry to blurt out like that, but I really don't have any patience for these. I would also advise anyone who came to me with one character p.o.v. ed stories (story told entirely by only one character) to go back on that method to give the other characters some room to grow, because I find that style extremely restricting what interesting things we might find about other characters. I know I'm giving the same example, but Bella's father is another very good example for that. Throughout the entirety of four books, all we got to learn about him was he only watches games on tv and goes to fishing on Sundays. Boring much?
