Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am a rather Demented Mind when I read some stories over. I can give it a plot twist quicker than the eye can see. I like to keep people on their toes when it comes to stories. I do enjoy sex scenes. Why? Probably because I'm a guy but that means nothing when I read. My style is to give things a mysterious edge. My expectations of the writer is that you are adiquite with your writing style and are ready to have a fun time writing with me... not like that! Professionally... I would like to be your friend while we work together. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I can spell very well. Some people have bad spelling in some areas. I'm not boasting, but I look up things before I write things. I'm work pretty good when I'm under pressure, but I'm not sure why. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
My weaknesses are... grammer and that I'm alittle quick. Therefore, I kinda skip over things... but I make up for it with reading over things four times. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I like to read good action stories mixed with alittle romance or crack fics... I like the manga/anime stories because I tend to watch lots of anime. It's like a way of life. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
No offense but I don't like reading yaoi sex scenes. I mean I can (and would) probably beta a yaoi story, but I don't like reading yaoi stories without a very good point as to why the characters are gay. Then there is the stories that have no plotline at all. I will say I like the random stories or the omakes, but it's the stories that have a plotline and don't make sense. So I guess I want to become a beta reader to help these people. |
