Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hello, there! I'm Lizza. I decided I might as well beta, since I'm trusted enough with grammar and spelling skills to proofread my friend's essays and other important literary assignments, and I'm online often enough to get things done. I'm a huge Ouran High School Host Club fan, and it's pretty much all I read on this site. I do not enjoy fanfics with utterly impossible pairings, such as Kyoya/Hani, and I prefer not beta'ing those. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm fairly good at deciphering nonsensical sentences and fixing them, I have a wide vocabulary, and, ~according to others~, I have the ability to make something more interesting to read. I myself am indifferent to the matter and shall give no definite 'yes, I agree' or 'no, I disagree' to that statement. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I tend to completely change sentences if they don't fit well with the story, I'm pretty bad at fixing badly written, overly romantic scenes, and when I write it tends to be short, so I can't make your fanfictions longer if that's what you're looking for. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I like short, humorous stories, or stories that contain romance. (Not to much romance, though.) I'll beta almost anything, though. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'd prefer not to betaread stories with, as mentioned earlier, completely impossible pairings. Or crackfics. I shall make certain exceptions, however, depending. :3 |
