Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Okay, for starter's I'm pretty good with grammer and such. I'm used to editing other peoples things that are submitted to my club on deviantART when it comes to stories and such. I've been writing forever and I know sometimes my writing goes a miss but if given the time I can really do a ton of things and I pick up on things quickly and I'm good when going over other people's writings and can get things right. My laptop has a ton of space so I can keep record on whatever documents anyone decides to send to me and not get them mixed up.
Size wise doesn't really matter to me. You can send me a 1,000 word chapter or 10,000 word chapter, just give me a bit of time and it'll be back in your possession immeadiatly. Give me an assignment and it'll become my first priority. I don't play favorites. That's not my job, my job is to make sure that I have an author's trust in correcting his and or her material before it gets distributed to all the loyal readers here on fanfiction.
My basic policy is that I just recieve the same amount of respect that I will show to all how ask for my assisstance in whatever thing. I'm here to help but I'm not anyone's servant or anything so I hope you understand if I don't get something in on perfect timing (happens to all of us I'm sure) that you please forgive me for the inconvinience so I can get in as quickly as I possibily can. With school and all, I'll try the hardest I possibily can. I'll take any story from any genre that anyone needs done. Whether it be anime/manga, books, movies, shows, games, etc. I'll be here. No matter the pairing or the character-centered or even an OC pairing, I'll be here to help anyone. The rating won't be too much of a problem, but please, let's not go overboard with the lemon. I'm not much of a fan of lemon. So if you want a lemon scene, I just ask that it won't go overboard or anything so besides that I'm okay. I'm okay with yaoi as well. I will say that my guilt is definatly SasuxNaru I shall only say that and nothing more.
So in conclusion, I hope to be able to help anyone that needs it and I hope I'll get a good learning expirience from all of this and I also hope that authors will trust in me to help them become better at their own writing skills. They improving my own and maybe... mine improving theirs.

My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good with word virations. I've got an expanded vocabulary. I'm good with literary devices and can assisst if anyone needs help if they feel that something sounds flat or dull or I can give honest opinions in what sequential order of words and phrases a sentence can go in so it won't sound awkward or anything like that. I'm pretty good with grammer, but if I happen to miss a small thing I do apologize. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I might have a semi-issue with punctuation. When I mean puncuation I might mean getting a little confused with comma splices and sometimes semi-colon trouble so, I can only do my best with it. So I'll try as hard as I can with that. Sometimes spelling can be a bother but I have ways to help with that so spelling won't be too bad. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
My basic field, overall, is the Anime/Manga section. I tend to do more stories in those reaches of the world but I am fully open to any other ones. So I'm not really with "I hate this cateogry, I won't do it." or anything like that. I'll do whatever needs to be done. Even though I don't favor some pairings and am in love with other one's it won't be a problem. Yeah, I will admit that I am a huge fan of a ceartin pairing but I'm open to other things as well. So no worries. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
As I said before I'll do anything, but anything does have it's exceptions. In my case... hardcore yaoi or yuri. I'm sorry but I cannot do that. I just simply cannot go down that path. I have nothing against yaoi or yuri pairings but when you take it to full-blown lemon or even pineapple, I do apologize but I cannot swallow that bit. One other thing, a straight pairing when it goes full-blown pineapple. I'm sorry but I can't go there. Normal lemon or lime is cool, but not severe lemon to high pineapple. |
