Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I love to read. I read all types of literature but really have fallen in love with the classics. I am open to work with anyone. I just would like them to have an open mind and understand any critiques I have are not personal. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am a stickler about spell check, and flow of the story. I like to see pictures in my mind as I read a story. I do research on the characters and places that they go so it can feel as real as possible. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I am not a big TV watcher. The only shows I watch are Monk, Psyche, and CSI. If you want help making characters feel real and they are not shows I watch, I don't think I will do a good job at that. I am also terribly ADD. If a story doesn't catch my interest in the first chapter, I'm not likely to continue. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
CSI and CSI:Miami, Psyche, Monk for the shows. For movies I would prefer Pirates of the Caribbean, but am open to any movie really. I like Marvel Zombies and the Hulk for comics. If you write Bible stories, I'll give it a go, I love Christian literature. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Any slash stories. I am not into that at all. No M stories unless it is because of gore or violence. I don't want Penthouse forum style stories. |
