I'm a nit-picky sort of beta reader. Grammar and spelling are my first priority, characterization and plot development are second, and overall structure of the story is third. However, the order these are in don't make any of them less/more important than the others, it's just what I tend to lend my attention to in the first run-through.br /

(NOTE: I've taken the Spongebob category off of what I beta because I haven't watched very many of the newest episodes. If you want something betaed that deals more with the older episodes (before 2007/8/9, mostly) I can still offer viable crticism on it. Also, I've completed TWEWY up to the part where the credits roll for the first time. I have no knowledge of what goes on past when the credits roll so please do not send me things that deal with anything past that.br /

NOTE 2: Certain things will take longer for me to get back. That's fairly logical; it's not going to take me the same amount of time to read through a 10,000 word chapter as it would a 1,000 word chapter. Please see my weaknesses for a more specific note on my scheduling issues.br /

NOTE 3: I've been raised with US English. It's problem for me to read UK/British English, but I'd just like everyone to know which brand of English I speak, just to explain any accidential corrections I may make. There won't be many, but I'm bound to trip up some time, I'm sure.)

My strengths lie mostly in the spelling and grammar area, but I can also make plot/characterization suggestions as well (as in, slow the story down, speed it up, character so and so shouldn't be that hyper, ect.).

I will not have a very open schedule until June comes. I cannot completely, absolutely guarantee that I will have a story back to you on a certain date.br /

My explanations/corrections can get long at times, though I'm fairly sure that there's nothing unecessary (by my standards) in there. Nothing like "oh, yeah, and I had a waffle for breakfast" or something.



RIZZOLI & ISLES: I am only familiar with the TV series. I haven't read the books and I doubt I will be in the near future-lack of time, not lack of interest-so I only have knowledge of the characters/plots in the show.

If given a choice, I tend to gravitate towards romance-except if it's really mushy or sweet, which is actually far harder to avoid than one would think-though I also read action, adventure, general and funny stories, too. It boils down to there's very little I won't be willing to beta.

There are very few types of stories I would be unwilling to read. If it's anything really extreme (graphic descriptions of violence or something like that; I'm trusting your judgement on that one) I'd like a warning beforehand. You don't have to spoil everything for me, just something like "there's a part where the dismemberment of someone is explained in detail" would be nice. (This really applies to if there's graphic descriptions of cruelty to animals or sex.) Other than that, I'll take just about anything.
