Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader

I am a science fiction/fantasy enthusiast and so am better off reading sci-fi/fantasy related fanfiction. Fandoms I know most about are::
- Dragon Ball/Z/GT
- Mass Effect
- Dragon Age
- A Song of Ice and Fire
- Harry Potter
- Animorphs
- Star Wars (KOTOR 1/2)
- Jade Empire
I also know (slightly less) about::
- Lord of the Rings

- Anne of Green Gables (series)
- Star Wars (TOR)
I beta-read for grammar, spelling, character development, plot development, canonically correct information (such as correct names, dates etc in the universe which the fanfic is set), and general style.br /

My Expectations::br /

- That you will not accuse me of flaming you in my beta-read. I cannot guarantee you will be happy with my betareading, as that's for you to decide, but saying I'm flaming your story by giving you a thorough critique is quite rude, not to mention untrue. I can guarantee that I will beta-read in good faith with a willingness to help however I can.br /

- That you will accept my beta-reading in the manner it was intended. I will always be honest about which points of a story need to be improved. You are perfectly entitled to disagree, but if you become offended at my beta-read then you will never be a writer. Sorry to sound blunt, but there are a few occupations in the world which need thick-skinned people:: doctors, nurses, social workers, customer service people, police officers and writers. I'm two of them (can you guess which?)br /

- That you will accept that sometimes I cannot be available for requests. I am currently only taking one-shots and drabbles. I work full time and am writing and painting most of my spare time, and I don't have the extra effort to spend on betaing long fics.br /
