Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
What's up? Sin here.
I read all kinds of stories, so I'll pretty much beta anything requested. I've read a lot of stories in my time on Fanfiction [and also DeviantART, too.], so I can be picky.
I'm probably going to go over every word, mind you, so I'll warn you now. Hah.
I'm usually "nice", but I can be pretty brutal if the story needs to seriously be beta read. Won't happen much, though, so nothing to be afraid of. Hahah. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm pretty good with spelling/grammatical changes. A couple word selections changed here and there are to be expected, also.
I can usually help with ideas to help move the story along, or "get over writers block", if you will.
I also have a major thing for detail, so I'm probably going to make suggestions there too. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I can't check stories 24/7, so I'd appreciate no "deadlines" or anything of that sort. I do log on frequently, however, so most of the time I can get the stories done in a matter of days, depending on length. |

Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'd quite honestly not beta stories with characters I'm not very familiar with; being the characters not mentioned in their original story much or have a disputed background. I'll tell you about it beforehand and everything if I'm not familiar with the character [or even pairing], but I'd rather not do something with someone I'm not au fait with. |
