Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hi, I'm Espeon Master. Call me EM. I've written 3 fan-fics for Pokemon, and also love to read other stories. The only thing is that I am at a boarding school, and no longer have enough time to devote to writing. I still can read other stories, though. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I have a good eye; I notice writing flaws rather easily. I am particularly strong in spelling and grammar. I also have a good sense of logic, and can recognize when something does not sound right. (Like my profile...) |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Time. Time is a gift, but being deprived from it is a punishment. I lose my "good eye" when I'm in a rush. In other words, don't always expect a response immediately; it takes me a while to read something thoroughly. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I will only read Pokemon fics, and prefer transformation fics. Anything with human-to-Pokemon transformations are good. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
1. Nothing too long.
2. Nothing that uses Japanese names for characters.
3. Nothing with characters from the manga, as I have not read it and am not planning to in the near future. |
