I have a pretty keen eye when it comes to this sort of thing. I tend to get puzzled when something that doesn't fit with the storyline comes up. I also tend to read all stories with a critical eye anyway. My expectations of anyone who wishes for my 'services' shouldn't give me a plot outline and expect me to write it for them. I am ready to proof-read and point out any mistakes in a story/chapter that has already been written. Please check yourself thoroughly for any mistakes before you give the story to me. This doesn't mean that I won't take stories that have mistakes; I would just like you to know that you have to put in the effort as well.

I have a pretty good eye when it comes to mystery, so I'm telling you now, you'll be pretty safe with mystery. Romance and humour/parody and also up there, and hurt/Comfort and angst are pretty alrightish. Adventure is just awesome, and I can guarantee that I can help. I have probably too keen an eye for grammar/spelling mistakes, and I get annoyed when the plot goes wrong, so I'm pretty sure I can help.

I don't generally read anything to do with suspense, supernatural themes or horror. I can beta-read them for you, but I'm tellign you now, I probably won't do a good job as I wouldn't know the criteria, or what I had to proof-read.

I prefer to beta-read humour/parody, romance, family, friendship, mystery, hurt/comfort and angst. I prefer to read things that are canon, or which are AU with a reason , not random AU characters.

I will not beta-read slash, cross (Yugi-o and Harry Potter crossover or something), too much AU where the story doesn't make sense or somethign where the characters are portrayed as something that they are not, e.g. slut Hermione.
