As a beta, I pay careful attention to details. I always catch the smallest of mistakes and have little to no hesitation in pointing them out to others. Despite this, I believe in considerate honesty. By this I mean that I will give constructive criticism to all who deserve it. I am not one to lose my temper easily, nor am I easy to insult or be provoked into insulting, so I will make sure I am fair in that I respect your wishes and am willing to collaborate on ideas for new chapters or new fictions. For anyone who wishes me as their beta, you must know that I do have much going on in my academic career as well as my home life, so I may not be as attentive or active as you may wish me to be. Sometimes I have several days at a time where I cannot log onto the Internet, so I beg patience and wisdom in your decision in choosing me to be your beta reader.

I am what some people call a grammar Nazi. I am a stickler for good spelling, punctuation, and the like. Because I notice these tiny mistakes easily, I would work best as a proofreader first and an idea revisor second. Though I do primarily work as a grammar/spelling beta, I can and will beta specific ideas. However, if I am selected as an idea revisor, I will probably require a lot of clarification over meaning and collaboration over an acceptable way to fix it.

Being only thirteen years old, I do have much to learn. Specific dates, characters, and ideas most likely can and will be somewhat over my head in the sense that I will try my best at understanding whatever you give me, but I make no guarantees. Nor am I the person who is forever patient. I do have my own schedules that I work with, yes, and I am willing to work to fit others' schedules, but being in high school, it is difficult to predict when and how I will be able to spend my time. So I urge any 'alpha writer' to use caution when asking me to be his or her beta reader.

I enjoy reading one-shots. Anything from a drabble to several thousand words is all right with me. I also am knowledgeable in the following fandoms: Legally Blonde, RENT, Spring Awakening, bare, Hairspray, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Avenue Q, Harry Potter, Gossip Girl, and Twilight, among several specific others. I prefer canon pairings, unless certain pairings are unmentioned in the story. I do read slash and femmeslash, as well as most AUs. Ask me if you are unsure of whether or not your story fits any category.

I do read chapter fictions, but if they are too extensive I am unlikely to want to stick with one project for too long. Fifteen chapters is most likely the highest amount of chapters I will beta for a single story. I dislike most non-canon pairings, unless (again) the character's orientation or romantic interest is unmentioned in the story. I mentioned above that I am knowledgeable in certain fandoms, though I will NOT beta, under any circumstances: Eragon, Ella Enchanted, Wicked, Chronicles of Narnia, Star Wars, or A Series of Unfortunate Events fictions.
