Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
If you actually want me to betaread, then it's a bit of a surprise, since I don't really consider myself to be that good of a writer. I'm not too sure what it means by 'style', but I'll read over your story and check to (try) make sure that it doesn't have any spelling or obvious gramatical errors. I might also give suggestions as to the flow of the story, though you are free to ignore it if you choose. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I like describing the feelings of a character, though I'm not sure if I'm too good at it. My spelling is fair and I can spot the more obvious grammar errors. I also have a good attention span when it comes to reading. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Grammar. It's my worst enemy. But, does anyone here actually care whether or not you used the clause correctly or not? Also, I can't write talks between characters well or action scenes. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'd like to have actually read or watched the series first, since if I don't, I can't tell if the characters are in character or not. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I still have the maturity of a 12 year old, so any type of citrus is an automatic no (unless it is skipable). However, gore and profanity is still acceptable. Also, no yaoi or yuri, please, unless it's a side pairing. |
