Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
So, I am a Tahitian man nun with a knack for reading stories. I can correct semi-well; but my skills aren’t ferociously amazing. If your looking for somebody who will make your story exceptionally “mind-blowing” , then I’m not your man. But I can fix a story up moderately well (I’m not the kind of that kind of “wax coat” corrector, I’ll smooth out the rough edges and bumps, but the final varnish is up to you). |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I really haven’t thought a lot about my strengths, but I know how to spell (with the occasional usage of spell check), I am very skilled in the ways of procrastination (which, in my strange little word is a sought after strength) and I can pick out a few minor grammatical errors and such. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Defiantly grammar and laziness (if you were to read my stories, you would find errors; I’m too lazy to go back and edit them). |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I’m pretty open (however, hot, heavy, “smexy” scenes aren’t exactly my forte), bring on the gore, (I’m not squeamish) and feel free to yell at me if I’m not doing my job right. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I’d really prefer not to have to beta “Lemons” (as you fan ficers so eloquently call them), and I’m not really into the whole incest thing. |
