Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm not mean. I usually just disperse my view and questions on things when the need calls for it, and whether or not you want to make changes is up to you. Since I'm more concerned with style and getting the point across rather than going all nitpicky with spelling and grammar, I suppose my views are more of a second opinion than anything else. So I won't be harsh. I won't demand that you change your fic to the way I dictate it. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Pointing out plot holes, critical analysis of phrases used and what it conveys, personal style. I don't like to correct spelling and grammar - it's rather tedious, and too detailed for my taste. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I can and will beta-read your fic, but don't expect too much praise, or that I actually enjoy reading it. I point out errors, not things that work right. It's unbalanced, but that's how I go about it. |
