Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Ok, here's the deal and get it well! My expectations as a beta reader are!-
* Must be a detailed story.
* Must have dialoge
* Must not be...*shudders* porn related.
MAKE SURE THE STORY ISN'T TOO LONG INTO THE THING before you send it to me! I cannot stress that enough! No offense, long story? Good for you! But I almost never read stories that are completed or more than 7 chpters into the thing. Sorry, I just can't start something like that!
My style you ask? I actually write in past tense, medievel form. When I was in 5th grade, I was scolded to always use more detail and mix things up! So I have a very unique writing style. If your looking for that special unique pazazz, I'm yer gal!
Sry, I prefer to judge people I don't know...It's just easier for me to be more strict! I can handlge the truth more with strangers.
And if your story is SPARRABELLA or anything else Barnacle Crew related, DEFINIETLY PICK ME! I live for those kinds of stories! I'll be more apted to read it. You don't know who Arabella Smith is???

Hmm, I may not be committed to your story 100 percent! If the story it already halfway into the thing, and you send it to me, I may not end up reading the whole thing! Sorry, shot attention span. I was born with it!
Now let's see...other weaknesses? I have a hard time starting out a chapter...but I don't think you should be complaining about that! Of course, I'll give it my best shot. But I ain't makin no promises. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Uh, actually ya! The stories I love best of all are stories telling of Jack's past!...that, and Jack/daughter fics! AND those rare Jack/son fics! (Ok, seriously ppl! Who ever said Jack was getting a daughter? Sheesh!)
Then there's also those Sparrabella fics. *sighs* I love Sparrabella
And finally WillOC. Sry, I'm sick of Willabeth!
But I DO like Jack/Elizabeth FRIENDSHIP STORIES! I repeat FRIENDSHIP!
And those parody script stories! Yaaaa, those are cool! You know, I don't mind the "POTC characters are in my bedroom!" fics, but it's the "Girl gets stuck in POTC world" fics that DRIVE ME BONKERS!!!
