Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am a person that will tell you exactly what I think. However, I will not be harsh with what I say. It not my job to break you down to a point that you don't want to write anymore or you think your work isn't good enough. It is just my job to make your writing better and that's what I intend to do. If you want me to beta your story then I will but I don't really care for character death, don't get me wrong, I do like some dark fics,and I will read character death I just don't care for them. I will read every kind of fanfic except crossovers. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
My strengths in betareading is paying attention to deatil, and the flow of the story. As well as the writing style of the author. When I write my strenght is thinking a plot completely through or close to it. I may have to tie up a few loose ends as I type but it works out better that way for me. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
As a writer I may vary my writing style through out the story in order to keep people interested however sometimes it does not always work out that way. Writng from muliple points of view is new for me but I am getting better at it as time goes on. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer to read something that will keep me guessing what will happen next and can make me feel like I'm there. Something that can sway my current outlook on a certain character. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I don't really like things that make no sense at all or something that just happens out of the blue. I will still read it, I will just give you some advice on how to change that. |
